Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

This is your chance to own a robot vacuum. CNET's best-rated models will be on sale during Black Friday and Cyber Monday with discounts of up to 57%.

The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that is equipped with smart mapping and app-based no-go zones. Its running time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also self-empties itself and automatically refills its water tank.

1. iRobot Roomba j7+

The Roomba J7+ is iRobot's smartest robot vacuum to date. Its biggest innovation is its camera-based obstacle-detection technology. It uses AI to detect objects like charging cords and shoes.  auto vacuum cleaner 's the first robot to provide you with images of objects that it encounters, so you can tell that it is safe to avoid it.

The Combo J7+ is the most effective mop-bot we've ever tested, removing spills and dirt with ease without leaving any trace that was there. The iRobot app makes it easy to control. It can schedule cleanings and even create Keep Out Zones to ensure that it doesn't sweep in areas that you don't wish to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start it and stop it with a voice.

Its design is superior to the rest, with a sleek top piece that looks more like a toy robot than a loud, obnoxious one. Clean Base's Automatic Dirt removal System also self-empties, which will cut down your cleaning time.

In our tests, we found that the j7+ quickly removed dust, dirt, and hair from pets. The counter-rotating rubber brush roll kept the debris in one location instead of scattering it across the floor. It even was able to catch small gravel and sand which other robots couldn't do. It did this without getting tangled in our pet's hair.

The j7+, while not as intelligent as the Roomba S9, which costs $1,217and Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot, and it isn't able to clean the stairs, is a good option for those who need both mopping and a vacuum. It's not expensive and the iRobot App makes it easy to use.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use, however we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner applications. It can take some time to download updates and it can be difficult to tell whether they're working until you actually see them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking for a robotic vacuum cleaner that does more than simply clean your floors then a hybrid is the best choice. This kind of robot usually comes with a built-in tank for water that allows them to vacuum and mop your house at the same time. These bots also have various additional features like smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the capability to wash and dry mopping pads.  auto vacuum cleaner  at full retail but often are reduced on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Roborock is the manufacturer of some of our favorite robotic vacuums and the Q5+ does not perform to the standards. This is their least expensive auto-empty model, and while it's not equipped with some of the premium features that are found on more expensive models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still an excellent option if you're willing to sacrifice a little to save some hundred dollars.

The Q5+ is noticeably soft around obstacles like table legs and walls and walls, which makes it a great choice for homes with lots of furniture. It's also extremely thorough when it comes to getting rid of dust bunnies which is a problem where many cheaper robot vacuums be a bit sloppy. The Q5+'s navigation system is excellent, with few misses along walls and in corners.

The Q5+, just like other Roborock products can be controlled with a few buttons on the device or through the Roborock App. The app allows you to start and stop cleanings. You can also set schedules, design virtual barriers and no-go areas, alter your home map, or re-label the rooms.

If you choose to purchase the Q5+ model, it ships with a new auto-empty dock that's specifically designed to make the robot simple to maintain. It requires a screwdriver for install, but once it's in place, emptying the bin is easy. It has a large LCD screen, which is useful when setting up schedules and altering settings. This isn't a necessity for most people however it can help you keep the track of the maintenance intervals for your robot easily.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a sophisticated well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of both vacuuming and mopping. Its design and functionality are some of the best on the market however it's expensive.

The base station looks nice and is hidden when it's not in use, and the size is quite compact. The primary selling point of the station is that it can automate many tasks, functions and chores that other robots would leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which most other robovacs require you to do) and empty the dust bin after vacuuming, and ensures that your robot clean and charged.

Its vacuuming is also impressive. It's one of the only robovacs that I've tested that do a really good job of collecting debris from plain floors, and is not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.

However, the Freo X Ultra has its faults, especially when it comes to navigation. The laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs, which means it can get stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms of the home. It's not able to navigate stairs as well as competitors, and it doesn't have a dock that lets you to create an area for cleaning that is specifically designed for carpets with plush padding.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an excellent choice for those who need a vacuum robot that can do it all.

If you're looking to save some cash or don't want to think about the limitations of this machine, there are plenty of other options available with a wide range of eufy models for considerably less. The Eufy Qrevo curv, for instance is a bit more expensive and has more features, including the ability to climb stairs and a full-function Dock, which provides a better overall vacuuming experience on floors that are unfinished carpets with low pile and even high-pile carpets.

4. eufy RoboVac G30

Eufy, a Anker company, has a track record of making robot vacuums that strike the right balance between features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different, offering a capable cleaning of hard floors as well as mopping, carpets and other surfaces at a reasonable price. It's easy to set up, simply attach one of the side brush and turn it on, then plug in your charging dock. The app walks you through a few steps to connect to your Wi-Fi, and the G30 is ready to go. It is recommended to keep the dock near an outlet for power and ample space for it to move around however.

The G30 is tiny, 2.85 inches tall to be exact, which means it will fit under many couches and other furniture with a low clearance. The design is more modest than other models, with sleek black finish and three buttons that are physical such as Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge, and Spot Cleaning (which scrubs an area in a spiral pattern for two minutes). It is also possible to connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home for voice commands to perform unscheduled cleaning.

The way in which the G30 cleans is what separates it from its rivals. It makes use of an integrated map to create an image of the unmovable items that are in its path. It keeps track of what it has already cleaned and what it is unable to access. When it's time to recharge, it automatically returns to its base, and then resumes cleaning where it started.

The sleek G30 isn't without its faults, though. The iRobot Roomba is built better and has lower cost of operation. It charges faster, offers the same battery life and is more effective on bare floors or low-pile carpet. It comes with a larger dust bin that doesn't require more emptying. It also comes with boundary strips that keep it from certain areas. The G30 is more affordable and simpler to maintain. Its smaller size means that it doesn't need to be empty as often and it's less difficulty handling bulky products like cereal.
